England lost their remaining two wickets in no time just after the tea break to close their first innings at 477 in the fifth and final Test against India at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here on Saturday.

Liam Dawson (66 not out) and leg-spinner Adil Rashid (60) helped the visitors cross the 400-run mark with a 108-run partnership before Rashid perished just before the tea break, with England on 452/8.

Coming back, India managed to take the remaining two wickets in quick time as left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja (3-106) and pacers Ishant Sharma (2-42) and Umesh Yadav (2-73) emerged the main wicket-takers.
