Brazilian Under-20 football player Marlon has held talks with Fiorentina about a possible move to Italy's Serie A.
Marlon's agent Frederico Morales said on Thursday that the player has also attracted the interest of Barcelona, who have first bidding rights for the centre-back, reports Xinhua.
"Enquiries always happen. It is a normal thing to occur when the market opens. In the middle of the year also, it was same. But we decided to renew, rather than negotiate," Morales said.
"Fiorentina's staff had a meeting with us, but they did not present an official proposal. It is a normal thing to happen. Will he stay? Yes. Unless we have a good proposal. We are talking to a Spanish club also, but there's nothing official."
Marlon has made 31 first-team appearances for Fluminense to go with his 12 Brazil Under-20 caps.
