A fire broke out at a multi-storeyed building housing bank in the heart of Delhi on Tuesday, injuring five people, a fire official said.
The blaze erupted around 11.40 a.m. in the Oriental Bank of Commerce branch, which is located in Harsha Bhawan in Connaught Place.
Five people were injured in the blaze, the official said.
The bank is on the ground and first floor of the four-storeyed building.
"Fifteen fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and the rescue operation is under way," the fire official said, adding that the cause for the fire has not been ascertained.
