Flamengo in bid to sign Lavezzi

Brazil's Flamengo are preparing a bid to sign Argentina international forward Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris Saint-German, the reported.

The 30-year-old's current deal with the French outfit expires in July meaning he will be free to negotiate with other clubs in January, Xinhua news agency reported.

Juventus, AC Milan and Barcelona have also shown interest in signing the former San Lorenzo player, the Globo newspaper reported on Saturday.

Lavezzi joined Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli in 2012 and has scored 34 goals in 154 appearances for the club.

He has been capped 48 times for Argentina, scoring seven goals.
