New Delhi, April 18 (IANS) Two Nigerians were arrested here with a kilogram of heroin worth about Rs.1.25 crore in the international market, police said Thursday.
"Christopher Chibuike, 35, and Ifeya, 22, from Nigeria were arrested from Delhi's Janakpuri area Wednesday," a police officer said.
Around one kg of fine quality heroin worth Rs.1.25 crore in the global market was recovered from their possession, the officer added.
Police said the duo, residing in Dwarka area of the capital, would conceal the drug in auto spare parts which were shipped to China from a cargo office in Mahipalpur in south Delhi.
"They had successfully sent three consignments of heroin to China," the officer said.
The duo used to procure the drug from one John, a fellow Nigerian residing in Vikas Puri in west Delhi, who is on the run, the officer added.
