Kiev, Oct 20 (IANS/EFE) At least four civilians were killed and nine others wounded by artillery fire directed at the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, the mayor's office said Sunday.
"As a result of the military actions of Oct 18, four civilians were killed and another nine were severely wounded in Donetsk by shell fragments," said a statement issued by the local government.
The statement added that the artillery fire hit the city early Sunday and destroyed numerous buildings.
