At least four people died Monday and five others were injured after their car rammed into a tree in west Delhi, police said.
All the nine victims were of the same family. The accident occurred in Kanjhawala area, when the driver of the Suzuki Swift lost control and hit a tree, police said.
Of the nine occupants, four people died on the spot, while five others were rushed to a hospital.
They were returning from Rajasthan and were headed for their home in Haryana's Sonipat district, police said.
The dead were identified as Sanjay (35), Sangeeta (26), Sonu (30) and Abhishek (seven).
