Four employees of Hindustan Construction Company in Imphal were injured when a hand grenade was lobbed at the office on Saturday, officials said.
The injured persons are undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity in Imphal. Hospital sources said that the injured persons are not in serious condition. The grenade was lobbed at 5 p.m.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, who also holds the Home portfolio, said: "Rapid action police force rushed to the office. There is Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp near the office."
He assured that the perpetrators will be found.
Police who rushed to the site of the blast said "the grenade was made in China".
All nearby areas were searched to look for the suspects. However, no arrest was made.
