At least four people were killed and 10 others injured on Wednesday evening in a suicide attack during a football match in Kurram Agency, Pakistan's north-western tribal region, media reported.
According to reports, the incident took place when two militants opened indiscriminate fire at players and spectators during the football match.
Kurram Agency is a tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
One of the attackers blew himself up by detonating his explosive-laden jacket on the ground while his companion was shot dead by security personnel, Xinhua reported.
Two civilians watching the match were killed while 10 others, including a security personnel, were injured in the attack.
Around 100 people were watching the match between two local teams when the terrorists attacked.
Security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the local civil hospital.
The toll may rise further as some of the injured were in critical condition at the hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the attack and expressed the government's resolve to continue its war against terrorism.
