Four people, including women and children, were killed Thursday in a village in Bihar's Banka district over a land dispute, police said.
"Police have recovered the bodies and sent them for post mortem," said Banka Superintendent of Police Pushkar Anand.
He said tension prevailed after the incident and additional security forces have been deployed to keep watch on the situation. Police have lodged a case against three accused named in the case.
