Curitiba (Brazil), June 21 (IANS/EFE) Ecuador head coach Reinaldo Rueda said that facing France at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro Wednesday will be a tough Group E clash of the FIFA World Cup.
"It will be difficult but the team is motivated," Rueda said, reports EFE.
Ecuador came from behind to beat Honduras 2-1 Friday, clinching their first win of the tournament. They will take on France, which thrashed Switzerland 5-2 Friday, in a game that will decide who will advance to the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Honduras will play Switzerland at the Arena da Amazônia in Manaus on the same day.
