The Delhi government on Friday announced free travel in all DTC and cluster buses to encourage the use of public transport during the odd-even scheme from November 13 to 17.
State Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot tweeted: "To encourage use of public transport during Odd-Even, Delhi govt to allow free travel for commuters in all DTC and Cluster buses from 13-17 November."
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal retweeted this saying, "This will encourage people to switch to public transport."
Gahlot said that he would hold a second preparatory meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday regarding the traffic rationing scheme.
The Chief Minister chaired the first meeting in this regard with the officials of the Transport department earlier in the day.
