A huge quantity of fuel has been confiscated from a bus that met with an accident in Nepal's Siraha district on Sunday, the media reported.
Police officer Shyam Chaudhary was quoted as saying that around 12,000 liters of petrol and diesel was seized from the bus that was on its way to Kathmandu, The Kathmandu Post said. The bus collided with another bus.
Diesel and petrol are in short supply in Nepal ever since protests by Madhesi community on the Nepal side of the border with India started in September, effectively sealing the borders.
