'Fugly' to release May 16

Bollywood entertainer "Fugly" will hit the screens in the summer of 2014.

Kabir Sadanand's directed film, which is coming of age drama based in the cpital, will release May 16 next year, said a statement.

Produced by Akshay Kumar's and Ashwini Yardi's Grazing Goat Pictures, the film stars Jimmy Shergill, Anil Kapoor's nephew Mohit Marwah and Olympic medallist boxer Vijender Singh. Sana Saeed will also feature in one of the songs of the movie.

Shot extensively here and in Leh, it is a story of four friends Dev, Devi, Gaurav and Aditya. It unfolds the story of the carefree men, who get caught in a "fugly" incident, which sucks them slowly into the world of corruption, politics and the real society in the capital.
