The music of forthcoming movie "Fukrey" was launched with the lead actors of film making a grand entry at the venue on horses here Tuesday.
Produced by Excel Entertainment, a joint venture of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the movie is based on dreams of four young boys played by Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma. The music album was launched in the grounds of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma college.
Talking about the unusual entry, Farhan, who himself came on a cycle, joked in front of cheering crowds: "The budget of the movie is so big that we invested everything in it. So with the leftover money, we could only afford horses. "
Singers Ram Sampath and Sona Mahapatra also performed on stage along with energic dance performance by the actors.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, "Fukrey" also features Richa Chadha of "Gangs Of Wasseypur" fame. It is slated to release June 14.
