Gauri & Nainika design shoe range for first time

Designers Gauri & Nainika, who have always been obsessed with shoes, especially high heels, have created a shoe collection for the first time.

The party shoes collection is in collaboration with online fashion destination KOOVS.COM.

Recognized for their elegant and feminine style, the designers' creations include their signature ruffles, bows, ornamental flowers and decadent embellishments.

The Gauri & Nainika X KOOVS range represents romance and glamour with elements inspired by Parisian panache and the style of renowned fashion icons such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.

It features pink pumps, gold engraved block heels, tie-up sandals, glitter and fur high heeled stilettos.

"

"This is the first time Gauri and I have designed a shoe collection and it has been such a fun experience. It's even more special because it's our second collaboration with KOOVS," the designers said in a joint statement.

"Like all women, we have also always been obsessed with shoes, especially high heels. This gave us a chance to really make the kind of shoes we are always searching for but cannot find."

To mix comfort and design, has always been their focus.

"Like our brand, the design philosophy behind the shoe line is also all about ultra-feminine glamour. We have used rich fabrics like duchess satin and velvet and the goal is to give the collection a high end and luxurious feel," said the designers.

The range will launch on KOOVS.COM on November 8.
