The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will meet in Saudi Arabia Sunday to discuss action against Hezbollah affiliates in the Gulf region.
GCC Secretary-General Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani said senior interior ministry officials of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would meet in Riyadh, reports WAM.
The meeting will discuss ways to implement the GCC decision to take action against Hezbollah affiliates in GCC countries, whether through residency or through financial and business transactions.
Hezbollah, which has close links with Iran, has come out openly on the side of the beleaguered Syrian regime.
