Rolling Stones musician Mick Jagger's daughter, model Georgia May, says getting cornrows, a popular African style of braiding the hair along the scalp, was her worst ever fashion crime.
The 21-year-old regrets getting her hair braided during a holiday. On her return to Britain, she realised that she looked ridiculous, especially with sunburn.
"I got cornrows. I got beads and little foil tips... I did the full thing! That, and getting so burnt I looked really English, when I came home it was all peeling off," telegraph.co.uk quoted her as saying
After her holiday faux-pas, Georgia is careful about protecting her skin and never leaves the house without suncream and keeps her makeup to a minimal.
Talking about her beauty regime, she said: "Suncream, usually I'll use like a tinted moisturiser or a BB cream with suncream in it. And then just lip balm and I like a rosewater spray for when it's really hot, it's what I've been getting into."
