A 19-member Georgian delegation including four athletes will travel to Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
Mamuka Khabareli, vice-president of the Georgian National Olympic Committee, told reporters Wednesday that the Georgian delegation would also be made up of three coaches, four National Olympic Committee officials and eight journalists, reports Xinhua.
Georgian Public Broadcasting will televise the opening ceremony of the Sochi games.
The Sochi-bound Georgian delegation includes figure skater Elene Gedevanishvili and alpine skiers Iason Abramishvili, Alexi Bendianidze and Nino Tsiklauri.
Elene Gedevanishvili had won two bronze medals at the European championships in 2010 and 2012.
Georgia has so far participated in all five winter Olympic Games since independence in 1991 but never came close to winning a medal.
