Berlin, July 15 (IANS/EFE) German football coach and former player Franz Beckenbauer has said that the national team will keep on improving after winning the World Cup, and it will be difficult to defeat them.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former World Cup winner, as both player and coach, said that it will be very difficult to defeat the German team in the future as their performance will improve over time, reports Efe.
Beckenbauer saw the Germans win their fourth World Cup and said the national coach, Joachim Loew, made the right choices during the tournament.
The German team did not have a special star like Messi or Ronaldo, but they had a special team that was the best in the tournament, the Kaiser added.
The German team won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil for the first time since 1990 when Mario Goetze scored a decisive goal in the 113 minute to end Argentina's dream.
