A leading businessman who was reportedly suffering from depression committed suicide here on Thursday by jumping before a speeding train, police said.
The incident occurred on the Delhi-Meerut railway track near Nasirpur.
Police said Parminder Garg's car was found abandoned near the rail track. He owned petrol pumps and sold vehicles.
Family sources told IANS that Garg was under treatment for depression but could not be cured.
