Ghaziabad gets new District Magistrate

Ghaziabad got a new District Magistrate in Nidhi Kesarvani who took charge on Wednesday.

The new DM is from the 2004 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from Tripura cadre.

Earlier, she was District Magistrate in Ambedkar Nagar, Sravasti, Bulandshahr, Etah and Ferozabad districts of Uttar Pradesh.

She has also served as Special Secretary in Uttar Pradesh administration in Lucknow.

Listing her priorities, Kesarvani said women's safety would be her priority in addition to maintenance of law and order in the district.
