Gionee launches lifestyle range of smartphones

Chinese handset-maker Gionee on Tuesday launched its F series of lifestyle smartphones by introducing the F103 phone priced at Rs.9,999.

The F103 comes power packed with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and a 5-inch HD Dragontrail display. The new phone, which will run on Android Lollipop 5.0, will come with a eight-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a five-megapixel front camera.

"Design along with features has become an essential element for consumers when they buy the phone. With our F series we have achieved to get both design and performance in one device and consumers gets the best from both the worlds," said Gionee India general manager Timir Baran Acharyya.

"F103 is a power-packed device, a great design which not only gives great performance but also adds the style quotient to the consumer who carries it out," he added.

The F103 comes in with an in-built 16GB memory along with a 2GB RAM. The dual SIM 4G phone is backed by a 2,400mAh battery.
