Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh on Monday took a dig at BJP MP Mahesh Girri and said that the lawmaker must sit on hunger strike for 20 days.
"Mahesh Girri should sit on hunger strike for 20 days. Arvind (Kejriwal) sat for 15 days," Ashutosh tweeted.
"Arvind is diabetic. He sat on hunger protest twice for 15 days. Mahesh Giri should definitely sit on hunger dharna (strike) for at least three weeks."
The AAP leader further said, "Those who are murder accused they don't sit on dharna but are interrogated and arrested."
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmaker from East Delhi sat on hunger strike on Sunday after the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal didn't appear for an open debate at the Constitution Club here.
Girri had dared Kejriwal over his allegations concerning murder of NDMC official M.M. Khan.
Khan, a law officer of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) was shot dead in Jamia Nagar last month.
