Go vintage this party season with lace designs

If you are not a fan of bling and sequins then opt for lace, one of the hottest trends this party season. Designer Michelle Salins suggests that one can't go wrong with a "delicate fabric like lace" for parties and nightouts.

"The beauty, femininity and classic style embodied through lace is exactly the feel you want your dress to encompass. It is all about the delicate fabric landing on everything from colourful dresses to sexy metallic or nude layered pencil skirts," said the designer in a statement.

So if you are looking for a new look to define your feminine side, the designer suggests a few looks that will help in bringing out the sensuousness within you.

- The royal blue skirt: The lacy skirt can give a 'vintage chic with a modern twist' look. It is a 'must have' in your closet to dress up or dress down depending on your desired style or special event. Step out in stilettoes for the evening or go from brunch to cocktail teaming it with either a fitted tee or a satin blouse with pearls.

- The black and red lace dress: Bring out your sensuous and extra feminine side in this versatile dress that can be worn to an elegant evening out or be seen in it for a red carpet event. Dress it up with black patent pumps and hanging diamonds.
