Legendary musician Stevie Wonder prayed that God gives mercy to comedian Bill Cosby, who has been arrested following a sexual harassment case.
In an interview with tmz.com, the "Superstition" hitmaker said: "I don't like prisons... I respect the work that he has done in his career as an artiste, and he has inspired a lot of people. And I just pray that God give him the mercy."
Cosby was sentenced on Tuesday by a court in Norristown, Pennsylvania for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.
The 81-year-old "America's Dad" comedian has also been labelled a "sexually violent predator" by a US court, implying that he must undergo counselling for life and appear on the sex offenders' registry.
