Continuing his struggle, Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri finished tied 71st after the second round of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship at the Trump National Doral golf course here.
Lahiri, current Asian Tour No.1, had a tough opening day as he managed eighth-over 80. Even though he improved his performance in the second round on Friday with a four-over 76, it didn't help his cause.
He is sharing the place with Scotman Stephen Gallacher who has scores of 84 and 72 in the first two rounds respectively.
J.B. Holmes held on to the lead despite managing a 73 in the second round. He had scored 10-under 62 in the first round and now has a total of nine-under 135. He is enjoying a two-shot advantage over Ryan Moore after 36 holes. Adam Scott is another stroke back alone in third.
Lee Westwood, who is making his 50th career start in a World Golf Championships event this week, is currently tied for 11th after an even-par 72 on Friday.
