The $7 million Turkish Airlines Open, to be held at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal Course here Nov 7-10, will form part of the inaugural Final Series in the Race to Dubai and will feature World No.1 Tiger Woods.
Fourteen-time Major champion Woods will be part of the 78-man field for the first ever European Tour event in Turkey.
"I had a great time during my first visit to Turkey. Turkish Airlines, the Turkish Golf Federation and the fans made it a really special event and I'm looking forward to playing there once again," said Woods, who has had four wins this season on the US PGA Tour including the recent Players Championship.
