Selena Gomez's step-father Brian Teefey has set up an online fundraiser to help the former "The Voice" contestant Christina Grimmie's family following her tragic killing.
Teefey, who was Grimmie's manager, started a GoFundMe campaign, which has raised over $33,000 so far, exceeding the goal of $4,000, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Words cannot begin to describe the pain I am feeling. I learned this business through the eyes of a father and Christina was like a second daughter to me," Teefey wrote on the GoFundMe campaign.
Grimmie had also performed with Gomez.
"My heart is absolutely broken. I miss you Christina," the former Disney star wrote on Twitter and posted a black-and-white throwback photograph of the duo.
Grimmie died after being shot in the head at a concert venue in Orlando on Friday. She was just 22.
