Actor Gopal K. Singh, best known for his character roles in films like "Traffic Signal", "Page 3" and "Badlapur", will next be seen doing a cameo in popular soap opera "Ye Hai Mohabbatein".
Gopal will be seen in a speed track in the show where the entire Bhalla family will visit a temple to thank god for Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) baby. Gopal will be seen seen as the bus driver, who will take the family for the trip.
He says "it feels good to be back on TV because now television and movies are more or less an equal medium to reach to larger audience".
"It's a short role of a bus driver who is here to take revenge and will leave the entire Bhalla family in a shocked state," Gopal said in a statement.
"I have always loved to play such negative characters in the past and I'm excited again for this one. I am also glad it's a short cameo so I can return back to movies as soon as possible," he added.
Gopal will start shooting for the Star Plus show from Tuesday.

Pallavi Kulkarni to flaunt Ekta Kapoor-designed collection
For her marriage sequence in popular TV show "Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar", actress Pallavi Kulkarni will don a light pink lehenga from TV tsarina Ekta Kapoor's 'EK' collection.
Neil (Ronit Roy) and Ragini (Pallavi), the estranged couple of the Sony Entertainment Television show, will once again come together for the sake of their children. And a special outfit has been brought in for Pallavi for the sequence.
"It's a very unique wedding. Usually we see parents giving their daughters away, but here, the daughter is performing 'kanyadaan' for her parents. The entire sequence is full of high voltage drama," Pallavi said in a statement.
"I am wearing a very pretty lehenga from Ekta's designer label. Often, we see TV actors decked up in heavy costume and jewellery during such sequences, but I prefer to be subtle. Since it's a second marriage, we decided to keep the entire look very understated without an over-the-top ensemble or make-up," she added.
Ekta is producing "Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar" under her banner Balaji Telefilms.
