Defender Oliver Sorg has moved from Freiburg to Hannover, the Bundesliga club said.
After six years with Freiburg, Oliver Sorg joined Hannover by inking a four-year deal with Hannover, Xinhua news agency reported.
"With Oliver Sorg we have signed a versatile player for our defense. He fits perfectly into our team with his experience, attitude and character," said Hannover's sporting director Dirk Dufner.
The German international, who made his debut under Joachim Loew in May 2014, made overall 105 Bundesliga appearances and three goals for the "Breisgauer".
"I am very pleased with my transfer to Hannover. I think it is the right move for me. Nevertheless I would like to thank Freiburg and especially my coach Christian Streich who helped me a lot," Oliver Sorg said.
Freiburg slipped into the second division after completing the season 2014-2015 on the 17th place meanwhile Hannover finished on the 13th position.
