HDFC Bank said on Friday that its net profit in 2015-16's fourth quarter surged 20.2 percent, to stand at Rs.3,374.22 crore compared to Rs.2,806.91 crore posted during the corresponding quarter in 2014-15.
The bank's total income for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 was Rs.18,862.6 crore, up from Rs.15,570.1 crore posted during the corresponding period in 2014-15, while net revenues increased by 20.3 percent to Rs.10,319.2 crore for the fourth quarter.
The bank's total Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) as per Basel III guidelines, was at 15.5 percent as on March 31, 2016.
"Gross non-performing assets were at 0.94 percent of gross advances as on March 31, 2016, as against 0.93 percent as on March 31, 2015," the statement said.
