Health conscious Crawford pulls children out of school

Model Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber recently pulled their two children out of school over health concerns.

Crawford and other parents made the decision after testing found high levels of toxic chemicals called polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs, in window caulking at the Malibu High School.

According to Crawford, the school tested 10 random classrooms for PCBs, and four were found to be over the federal limit. The school plans to remove caulk in those four classrooms and periodically monitor for air and dust, reports contactmusic.com.

"The problem is, for me, that they haven't tested the source," said Crawford.
