Matt Healy, frontman of The 1975 band, has addressed rumours that he's dating Taylor Swift, by saying that he and the "Blank Space" hitmaker "exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do."
Healy reacted to the rumours on a radio show, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"It's fake. It's all bloody fake. It's a farce," he said, before explaining what happened between him and Swift, whom he has been reportedly dating for two months.
"Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do.
"We spoke occasionally, and then (Swift)'s the biggest pop star in the world, I'm in Australia. There's no, like, relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that... So that didn't really happen, as much as it would be amazing for me if it did. Unfortunately, it didn't," he added.
