Lashed by heavy overnight rains, many parts of the city Saturday remained water logged resulting in heavy traffic jams.
According to police, roads and lanes in more than 100 places witnessed ankle-deep to knee-deep water logging.
Train movement was also disrupted. Some of the long-distance as well as local trains under the Eastern and South Eastern Railways are running late.
