Actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays the role of Loki from the superhero film "Thor", is proud but shocked to see the character's popularity.
His character is the alter-ego to the superhero in the franchise, Thor, and he did not expect that it will be liked so much, reports contactmusic.com.
"Loki and Thor are like yin and yang, the sun and the moon...The immense popularity of the character has been an amazing surprise. I never expected it in my wildest dreams," Bang Showbiz quoted Hiddleston as saying.
But the actor likes playing the role.
"It's fascinating to play the god of mischief. And he's such a broken character - bitter, jealous, grief stricken, angry, lonely and proud," he said.
