A home guard and his two teenaged sons committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Khammam district of Telangana on Saturday, police said.
The bodies of Kashi Vishwanath, 40, and his sons Jayant, 13, and Ajay Kumar, 12, were found on the railway track near Venkatagiri Gate in Khammam town.
Vishwanath was working as home guard in Kothagudem town of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the home guard along with his sons resorted to the extreme step due to financial problem.
A police officer said they have registered a case and took up further investigation.
