Honda two-wheelers' sales up 20%

Two-wheeler maker Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on Tuesday reported a surge of 20 per cent in its monthly sales for July.

According to the company, it sold a total of 544,508 units during the month under review compared with 453,884 units sold in July 2016.

During the month, the company's domestic two-wheeler sales (scooter and motorcycle) rose by 19 per cent to 511,939 units in July 2017 from 429,551 units in July 2016.

Exports of the company increased by 34 per cent to 32,569 units, the company said in a statement.
