Delhi saw a warm, humid Sunday. Humidity touched a maximum of 96 percent, India Meteorological Department said.
Maximum temperature was recorded a notch above the season's average at 34.9 degrees Celsius, while Sunday's minimum was two notches below average at 22.7 degrees Celsius.
The sky remained partly cloudy. Traces of rain were recorded in parts of the national capital.
Similar weather conditions are forecast for Monday, but Met Office said light showers are expected.
The maximum temperature Monday is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
