Delhi saw a muggy Thursday despite the maximum temperature dipping three notches below average to 30.8 degrees Celsius after a spell of rain earlier in the day. Showers are expected on Friday too.
While the minimum temperature settled one notch below average at 25.8 degrees, humidity wavered between a high and low of 92 and 81 percent.
The city recorded 15.7 mm of rainfall between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm.
"The sky will be cloudy and rain is expected Friday, said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Friday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
