Mumbai FC will look to getting back to winning ways when they host Mohun Bagan in an I-league Round-7 clash at the Balewadi Sports Complex here Saturday.
Mumbai FC (seventh, six points) face a Bagan side that sits just two places below them in the standings with only one point separating them.
Keeping their back-to-back setbacks aside, the hosts will hope to the secure their first home win of the season.
"We are certainly looking at plugging the losses and are working on it," coach Khalid Jamil said.
The visitors come into the game high on confidence after their first win of the season defeating high-flying Salgaocar 2-1 at home.
Mumbai FC, however, will be hoping to make the most of home conditions and will hope to exploit the fact that Bagan's previous visit to Balewadi earlier in the month resulted in a 0-2 defeat to Pune FC.
The hosts will be missing services of talismanic defender Haroon Amiri. The Afghan-international was sent-off late in the previous match against Shillong Lajong after coming on as a second half substitute and serves a one game suspension.
Right-back Valeriano Rebello will miss his second match in a row as he is still nursing an ankle injury he picked up in a pre-match practice session during the last round.
In their absence, youngster Ritesh Perambra will continue to partner Anwar Ali in the defence. The young Mumbai-lad will be high on confidence after getting on the scoresheet against Lajong.
