The International Cricket Council (ICC) will launch the 2016 Under-19 World Cup at a function here on Monday.
ICC General Manager (Cricket) Geoff Allardice, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan, former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara and Bangladesh duo of Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed will be present at the function.
The tournament will be held from January 22 to February 14. This is the second time Bangladesh are hosting the event after holding it the first time in 2004.
South Africa are the defending champions, having won the title in the United Arab Emirates last year.
