The body of an engineering student of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-Kgp) was discovered on the railway tracks near the campus in West Bengal, sources at the institute said on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Sana Sriram, a fourth year electrical engineering student at the institute.
The body was found on the tracks late Thursday night.
