Come September, legendary composer Ilayaraja will perform live at five cities across the US.
The five cities are the San Francisco Bay Area, Dallas, Atlanta, New Jersey and Washington DC.
His concerts will be a part of an event to be organised by Kalalaya USA, which was founded in 1992 with a mission of promoting Indian arts and culture in California.
According to the organisers, this tour has been arranged to commemorate the maestro's rare achievement of composing music for over thousand films.
In his illustrious career, this will only be the second time Ilayaraja will be performing in the US. His last concert was in 2013.
A team of over 50 musicians along with popular playback singers will accompany him on the tour.
