Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali will be in conversation with London-based author-filmmaker Nasreen Munni Kabir at the 10th NFDC Film Bazaar in Goa next week.

Imtiaz's Knowledge Series session will explore the freshness that he brought in with his directorial debut "Socha Na Tha" and about the 'Makeover of the Bollywood Love Story'.

Since Imtiaz's films -- "Jab We Met", "Cocktail", "Rockstar", "Highway" and "Tamasha" -- have always explored facets of love and the drama emerging from the mess that the love birds themselves created out of their confused selves, the topic seems suited for a discussion.

Kabir will explore what makes the director's romantic mind tick during the Knowledge Series discussion.

The Knowledge Series consists of specially curated presentations, lectures and panel discussions with key decision makers and market drivers of the film industry. They will happen during the Film Bazaar, to be held November 20-24.

Over multiple sessions during the four days of Film Bazaar, the Knowledge Series covers a wide range of topics including the evolution of content through changing socio-economic structures, expanding genres, conventional and innovative platforms of distribution, various emerging co-production possibilities, international collaborations and treaties, and the art of navigating various film festivals and markets.
