India full of wonderful people: Akon

Akon, five time Grammy-award nominated American singer-rapper, on Monday described India as a country full of wonderful people and with brilliant potential.

During a Twitter chat with fans, when asked to share a few words on India, Akon, who sang "Chammak challo" for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Ra.One", wrote: "India is full of wonderful people and brilliant potential."

Known for hit chartbusters such as "Locked up", "Lonely" and "I wanna love you", Akon has also tried his hand at acting. He has starred in films such as "Black November", "American Heist" and "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping".
