India score 188/3 against Australia in first T20I

India scored 188 for three against Australia in the first of the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket series here at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday.

Virat Kohli's powerful innings of 90 not out from 55 deliveries helped India register 109 runs in the final 10 overs. Suresh Raina (31 off 21) and Kohli forged a 134-run stand for the third wicket.

For Australia, Shane Watson picked up two wickets for 24 runs in four overs, as others took beatings.
