India and the US will work together on disrupting financial and tactical support for terror groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
External affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted that both sides have "agreed on joint and concerted efforts, including dismantling of safe havens for terrorist and criminal networks".
"India-US to work together on disrupting financial & tactical support for LeT, JeM, D-company and Haqqani network," his tweet said.
"India-US decide to renew Framework Agreement for defence cooperation for a further 10 years," he said.
Both sides are also to cooperate as knowledge partners for India's planned National Defence University.
"India-US Group to address all implementation issues to speed up deployment of US origin nuclear reactors in India," he tweeted, referring to ironing out issues relating to implementation of the Indo-US civil nuclear deal.
"Infrastructure platform to facilitate US and Indian firms in expanding infrastructure projects," Akbaruddin stated.
"US to be lead partner in developing Allahabad, Ajmer and Vizag as Smart Cities," he said.
"Bilateral ties on energy, defence, security, infrastructure discussed" during the Modi-Obama meeting.
