Indians finish 4th, 5th in men's 10 km final

Indian runners Rahul Kumar Pal and Suresh Kumar set their personal best times to finish a creditable fourth and fifth in the men's 10,000 metres final at the Asian Games here Thursday.

Bahrain's Elhassan Elabbassi finished the race in 28 minutes and 11.2 seconds to clinch the gold from Japan's Osako Suguru, who set a season's best time of 28:11.94 to take silver at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.

Pal finished the race in 28:52.36 while Suresh came home a little further behind in 28:58.22.
