Industries worth Rs.2,125 crore coming up in Bengal

The West Bengal government has signed agreements with six companies involving an investment of Rs.2,125 crores for setting up industries in South 24 Parganas district, a minister said Wednesday.
Industry Minister Partha Chatterjee said 1,300 people will get employment once the projects are complete.
He said land has been allocated to two companies for IT hardware projects at Baruipur in the district.
